They say they like
The Americano
Rich smooth dark
Its color
A booming black
Its essence
A chaotic craze
It sends signals
Through my spine
To my mind
I must acknowledge
The tempting times
Forced to consider
A wishful bind
It’s down right
Seduction
Yet the heart longs for a
Deeper gratification
Contentment
Hungry
For the roasted
Umber

I’m glad that you enjoyed it! Instead of writing lengthy poems, I tend to write short pieces where I’m able to fully give my attention to each word.
